I'm sure I am not alone in having been less than happy with many of the vacuum cleaners that have taken up space in my cupboard. At one time I had 3 of them to tackle normal household cleaning, but none were what I would call reliable or effective. Since buying the vax all terrain bagless I have been able to get rid of my other underperforming cupboard clutter vacuums! I also bought the 'turbo' tool at the same time and now all my cleaning is well, CLEAN. The turbo tool is just great for the stairs, what a difference, and if the kids see a difference it must be good.

I got this vax to replace a dyson cylinder. It's just as good from a cleaning point of view, but I am disappointed with the quality of its construction.
It isn't always easy to get the attachments on or off.
The plastic slot which holds the hose in place when not in use has already broken off, six weeks after purchase.
The longer more flexible hose is great for cleaning the stairs and the powered brush head is great, I just wish it was finished off in a better way.
